The sun came out to play for our annual Youth Winter Olympics held on the Gold Coast recently. More than 90 young people from our Youth Hubs took part in a range of activities with great enthusiasm.

On Thursday 11th July, five of our Gold Coast Youth Hubs –Thrower House, Runaway Bay, Upper Coomera, Nerang and Pacific Pines – came together to battle out the winner of the 2019 Youth Winter Olympics.

The day started with a group dance, with youth from each  hub having their time to shine during the performance. Following the dance there was war cries with points  added to the loudest group!

Then came the real fun - dodge ball and Oztag, following a huge jumping castle.

The Rapid Relief Team kindly provided a delicious BBQ for the special day.

Runaway Bay were awarded the Champions of the 2019 Youth Winter Olympics!
