headspace is the National Youth Mental Health Foundation, providing early intervention mental health services to young people aged 12 to 25.
About headspace
Each year, headspace helps thousands of young people, and their families and friends, access vital support through headspace services in over 154 communities across Australia, our online and phone counselling services, our vocational services, and our presence in schools.
Wesley Mission Queensland is the Lead Agency for three headspace centres in Queensland – Capalaba, Hervey Bay and Maryborough. For more information visit headspace.org.au.
A holistic approach
With access to a variety of mental health clinicians as well as non-clinical staff’, as well as non-clinical staff, headspace services provide holistic supports for improving the mental health and general wellbeing of young people.
headspace Hervey Bay also offers specialist vocational support under the Individual Placement Support (IPS) model.
How to access the service
If you’re aged 12 to 25, headspace is here for you.
You don’t need a referral from a doctor or a mental health care plan, though we do recommend involving your GP in your care if possible.

- By completing an online referral form
