Emmaus Village

Nestled among the peaceful, leafy surrounds of Wheller Gardens, Emmaus Village is a community of five interconnected courts that share bright walkways and natural vistas. Each room includes air conditioning, flat screen TV, built-in wardrobe and a private restroom, while each court has its own dining room and social space creating a lovely close-knit community. The Eden lounge plays host to many spontaneous gatherings and activities. And if the outdoors is more your style, the spacious verandas and garden gazebos are the perfect place to relax with friends and family or celebrate special events. When it comes to meals, the resident's kitchen complete with self-serve buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, means the choice and flexibility are yours. Our dedicated leisure and lifestyle coordinator creates a wonderful program of events for residents, including concerts, exercise and cooking classes, coach tours and games. Residents also enjoy playing with children who visit from the co-located childcare centre. We look forward to welcoming you and your loved one to our community, where an active and varied lifestyle awaits at Emmaus village.

Our chefs and food assistants work alongside dieticians, nutritionists and speech pathologists to deliver a daily full meal service. Snacks and refreshments are available at any time and you are free to choose where you would like to eat. Where possible, we source our produce from local Brisbane markets, this includes all our meat and fresh fruit and vegetables. Our menus regularly rotate considering seasonal food changes and to ensure variety and nutritional value. Residents at Emmaus Village enjoy meals served from our buffet selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and are welcome to work alongside our staff to prepare and serve each meal. Read more about our dining here.

Our leisure and lifestyle coordinator and staff at Emmaus Village are on-hand to create spontaneous, meaningful and exciting social and recreational events for all residents to enjoy. These include movie nights, coach tours, scrabble games, sing-alongs and BBQs.
