Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre
Do you need a safe place to live?
You deserve to have a safe, comfortable place to call home. A place where you can feel safe and secure, where you can eat and clean yourself. But a home like that is not always easy to find or keep.
Whether you’re living on the streets, struggling to pay rent, going through a break up, or feel unsafe in your home, we can help you. We run housing and homelessness services out of the Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre. Read more about our Supporting Those at Risk of Homelessness (STARH) program. If this program isn’t what you need, we’ll help you find another one.
If you’re between 12 – 21 years old, our Youth Housing and Reintegration Service is a special service just for you. We help with housing problems, but lots of other difficult situations too. Read more about our Youth Housing and Reintegration Service, or simply call us or drop in to our centre at Eagleby.
Would you like some guidance to find work or training?
When looking for a job, it can be hard to get all the things you need – the right resume, the right clothes, even the right answers to all those tricky interview questions. And it can be really hard to keep positive through it all.
Whether it’s writing your resume, getting it printed, using the internet or preparing for an interview, we’ll help you every step of the way.
If it’s training and education you need, we’ll help with you that too.
Do you want to feel happier and less worried?
Feeling stressed, down, and worried can be a normal part of life. But when these feelings are there most days, last for a long time or stop you from living your life the way you’d like, it’s important to get help.
We run mental health and wellbeing programs at Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre and at our other Wesley Mission Queensland locations. We also refer to other services and programs if we think those will better suit you. Why don’t you drop in or give us a call and tell us how you’re feeling?
