"Late last year I found myself unemployed, after deciding not to pursue a job, I searched volunteering and I found Community Assisted Transport (CATS) program at Wesley Mission QLD. They welcomed me into their work family in February and I have not looked back.

The rewards are bountiful! I love seeing happy faces each day on our clients, the fun conversations whilst travelling to our wonderful respite centres and the happiness and excitement on our gorgeous shoppers faces when I pick them up from a 2.5-hour shopping spree at Westfield.

The training you receive at CATS upon commencement is exemplary, Joe is an awesome supervisor. I felt very confident before I started driving the van. All our lovely office staff at CATS are so caring, full of empathy and try so hard to make each appointment/outing a great experience for our clients".
