Networking & giving back: CQIB’s annual Golf Day

Let’s be honest, golf days are not about playing golf!

It’s more about getting out of the office, into the sunshine, smelling the fresh air, networking and having a bit of fun, all in the name of a good cause.

The Council of Qld Insurance Brokers host several golf days per year and tickets get snapped up fast by their members.

Wesley Mission Queensland has been lucky enough to collaborate with CQIB for several years and we have introduced this group of generous people to several of our services. Members are always engaging and very happy to donate when they hear about the amazing way, we care for Queenslander’s that need us.

CQIB organise the golf day and we organise the charity side, usually offering teams a chance to cheat. The more they donate, the bigger the incentive. $200 gets them a HOLE IN ONE!

The members of CQIB have helped raise much needed funds for Hopewell Hospice, Hummingbird House and WMQ’s Red Bag Appeal.
