Hummingbird House team celebrates an award from Palliative Care Queensland 2023 for excellence and compassion.

We’ve always known what a fantastic team we have at Hummingbird House and now it’s official – winner of Palliative Care Queensland’s Outstanding Team Delivering Holistic Palliative Care award.

The team was recognised for its commitment to excellence and compassion in palliative care for neonates, children, and young people. Hummingbird House has made a significant impact on the palliative care sector in the care it provides to children in partnership with the Paediatric Palliative Care Service at Children’s Health Queensland.

Congratulations to the entire Hummingbird House team including our volunteers. Your outstanding team spirit has amazing outcomes for guests and their families!
