Designed in partnership with families who have loved ones with high and complex needs, Asher House is dedicated to establishing a completely inclusive and accessible environment for adults with disabilities. This shared home offers 12 spacious one-bedroom, one-bathroom private rooms, along with a variety of communal spaces perfect for family and friends.
With the presence of nursing and support staff around the clock, Asher House is committed to providing assistance for daily living and addressing the unique care requirements of its residents.

To be eligible to live at Asher House, you will need NDIS funding that aligns with this specific housing and support model.
As Asher House is not registered under Specialist Disability Accommodation with the NDIS this funding (SDA) is not required.
We can also support people with alternative funding arrangements in this home, including the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) or the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland (NIISQ).

No. This service is not Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). However, residents receive Supported Independent Living (SIL) supports delivered by our experienced team within the accommodation.

Asher House provides 24/7 support, including shared supports at a 1:3 ratio and active overnight assistance, ensuring consistent care is available day and night.
Our experienced team includes onsite nursing staff and qualified Disability Support Workers (Cert III), enabling us to support people with complex and high-intensity needs.
In addition to daily living supports, residents are encouraged to participate in community activities that promote independence, confidence, and social connection. We also provide personalised support tailored to each individual’s needs, goals, and preferences, within a safe and supportive environment.
