National Reconciliation Week | Strong Women Talking

Strong Women Talking, Marigurim Mubi Yangu Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation, delivers culturally appropriate domestic and family violence prevention focused workshops and programs to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children in communities.

Strong Women Talking are hosting a morning tea in conjunction with National Reconciliation Week, along with the theme Grounded in Truth, Walk Together with Courage. This morning tea will include:

  • Traditional dancers
  • Elders sharing stories of truth and courage
  • Weaving table
  • Native sweetness catering 

This event is in partnership with Wesley Mission Queensland.
