Wesley Mission Queensland welcomed Hopewell Hospice Inc and Paradise Kids under its banner of community services in September 2018.
Both Hopewell Hospice and Paradise Kids are based on values of respect, integrity, hope, compassion and empowerment and were established as a response to meet human need through putting the Christian faith into action. It’s fitting that we combine with a united vision.
History and founders
Hopewell Hospice Inc was established by the late Rev. Dr Ian Mavor (OAM) and his wife Deirdre Hanna in 1994 and has become an iconic and valued service on the Gold Coast. Hopewell Hospice has a long and proud history providing quality of life care for terminally ill people and their families and we are honoured to contribute to their important work.
