Child Play Group

Want to get involved in a relaxed and supportive group where you can meet new people and learn parenting skills?

The PeeWees Program offers a supported playgroup each week along with other informal groups/workshops, including parenting education, resilience building, budgeting and health and wellbeing. PeeWees supported playgroup is for parents with children aged from newborn to 18, living in the Beenleigh, Eagleby or the surrounding areas.

Children and parents can enjoy a variety of age-appropriate, fun play activities that help them to bond with each other and develop healthy relationships.

PeeWees can support you to:
  • Learn new skills for creative play at home
  • Develop your social networks by meeting other parents
  • Access additional parenting support services
  • Engage in parent-only activities including excursions, day trips and pamper evenings

Transport assistance is available in the local area, depending on individual situations. Please speak with the program coordinator to assess your eligibility.

The PeeWees program is coordinated by two family support workers operating Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The program is run by Wesley Mission Queensland and is funded by the Department of Communities, Child Safety and Disability Services.
