Frequently Asked Questions

How much do WMQ services cost in the NDIS?

Wesley Mission Queensland follows the NDIA Price Guide rules and prices. View the recently updated NDIA price guide on the NDIS website. We will also be publishing our prices on our website over the coming months.

Does WMQ offer transport?

Transport is offered by WMQ in a number of ways.

Group and individual travel

If you live in the Moreton Bay Council Area, our Community Assisted Transport Service (CATS) offers bus transport and individual transport.  You can call our team on (07) 3204 3900 for a full list of CATS prices or to receive a quote on what certain trips might cost.

However this transport service is not registered to deliver transport in the NDIS. Most people are self-managing the transport component of their NDIS plans so you can choose to spend your transport funds with a non-registered provider like our CATS service.

Transport for In Home Support Services

We also provide transport as part of our In Home Support Service.  If you purchase 2 hours or more in a single service, we will include 10km of travel - free. This will give you the opportunity to take short trips in your local area with our support worker to assist you.  You could pop down to the shops, pick up something from the bakery, do your banking and even stop for a coffee as part of your service.  We’ll get you there and back for no extra charge up to 10km a round trip. Talk to our Home Support Team about how you can incorporate short trips in your local area into a service that you purchase with your NDIS funds.
