Sing It Yourself Messiah, Sunday Nov 26

The Albert Street Uniting Church invites you and your friends to join us for our Sing It Yourself Messiah. It’s a great night for both people who enjoy singing and people who enjoy listening to Handel’s amazing Messiah. Jason Barry-Smith will again be conductor, with our Music Director, Greg Hartay-Szabo, on the organ. Our soloists are Judit Molnar (soprano), Anne Fulton (alto), Bernard Wheaton (tenor), Shaun Brown (bass) and Ashley Moor (trumpet).

Rehearsal starts at 4.30pm, break at 6.20pm and Performance at 7pm. Cost is $10.

"The Organ Society Presents: Duelling Organs", Nov 5 at 2.30pm

Albert Street Uniting Church organist Greg Hartay-Szabo and Saint Andrew’s Uniting Church organist Steven Nisbet presented a program of exciting organ music in a two-organ program, Duelling Organs, at Albert Street UC on Sunday afternoon 5th November at 2.30pm. The two organs played were the Benson pipe organ and a virtual pipe organ featuring the Melbourne Town Hall Organ.

Proceeds went to Hummingbird House, Queensland’s only children’s hospice, located at Weller Gardens, Chermside.

170th Anniversary Celebrations

We held a worship and brunch to celebrate the ministries that have shaped us over 170 years as the Albert Street Congregation. Worship was at 9am with brunch held at 10.30am in the Function Room of Wesley House (behind the church).

Open House - October 7 & 8, 2017

Albert Street Uniting Church took part in Brisbane's Open House Weekend. Guests were invited to get an inside look at what goes on in the church.

Somerville House Strings Concert - September 10, 2017 at 1pm in the Church

Guests were able to sit back and enjoy Brisbane’s best young musicians in this wonderful afternoon concert. Somerville House showcased their talent with this afternoon of delightful music.
