Hopewell Hospice

About
Hopewell Hospice provides excellence in Hospice and Palliative Care in a peaceful home-style environment.

Hopewell Hospice is a concept of hospitality for those dealing with a life-limiting illness and who are unable to stay or return to their previous home.

Hopewell Hospice includes:
  • Eight bedrooms
  • In-house kitchen and cook
  • Tranquil healing garden
  • Up-to-date technology for residents
  • On-site café

Wesley Mission Queensland welcomed Hopewell Hospice Inc and Paradise Kids under its banner of community services in September 2018. Hopewell Hospice Inc was established by Deirdre Hanna and the late Rev. Dr Ian Mavor (OAM) in 1994 and has become an iconic and valued service on the Gold Coast. Hopewell Hospice has a long and proud history providing quality of life care for terminally ill people and their families and we are honoured to contribute to their important work.

Both Hopewell Hospice and Paradise Kids are based on values of respect, integrity, hope, compassion and empowerment and were established as a response to meet human need through putting the Christian faith into action, so it’s fitting that we combine with a united vision.
