I would like to convey to you my thoughts and feelings regarding the care my Father received as a resident of William Moore Court (WMC) at Sinnamon Village.

From the moment Dad entered WMC we finally felt like someone cared.  He looked better in himself and brighter in his outlook, and even though he wasn't a ‘mixer’, he still seemed part of a community.

The staff at WMC are exceptional and a credit to your organisation. From the nursing staff to the cleaners, the activity coordinators and volunteers, they are all happy in their work and never make you feel anything is too much trouble.

Being a nurse myself, we are always the worst critics but rest assured, I have nothing but praise for your staff and their care of my Dad.

When Dad deteriorated suddenly, as a family we were given support and empathy during this time and Dad was always kept comfortable and settled. I would specifically like to mention Pauline James, Clinical Nurse Consultant, who was a great support to me personally.  I live in Bundaberg and was unable to visit my Dad as frequently as I would have liked, but Pauline was always on-hand to answer my many questions and concerns in detail, which was very reassuring. She also helped with the communication with Dad, as towards the end it was difficult for him to speak on the phone and this was my only means of communication.

Unfortunately we were not with Dad in his final moments, but Pauline and others were, and he did not pass alone. This was of great comfort to us at the time.

I would like everyone to know what an extraordinary team you have at William Moore Court; they are a credit to your company. Be it the smooth transition into high care or to the final passing of a loved one for any family, the care and attention is exceptional. Thank you.
