Wesley Mission Queensland provides a broad range of services for seniors including residential aged care, retirement living, care in the home and community, home maintenance, community transport, and therapy, respite and wellness programs. As Queensland’s first provider of aged care, we are trusted and respected within the South East Queensland community.
Wesley Mission Queensland is a National Disability Insurance Service (NDIS) provider and has been supporting people living with disabilities for more than 20 years. We offer supported accommodation and employment, respite, transport, art therapy and social activities and support. We are the providers of the National Auslan Interpreter Booking and Payment Service (NABS) and the National Interpreting and Communication Service (NICSS), which provide interpreting services for 5,700 members of the Deaf community across Australia.
Our Brisbane Relief Hub in Fortitude Valley is open five days a week as a drop-in centre providing holistic and immediate support to people experiencing disadvantage. Services include free meals, food parcels, case work support, individual counselling and social and educational groups.
We are one of the largest providers of youth and family services in South East Queensland. The majority of our programs are based in the Logan and Gold Coast region and support young parents, families in crisis and young people with after-school and school holiday care.
We have four child care centres across Brisbane, in home child care, family day Care and nanny services available for Brisbane families. A crèche service at Mabel Park High School provides on-site childcare and case management for pregnant or parenting students at Mabel Park High School.
Our Registered Training Organisation, Career Keys, offers a wide range of courses in aged care, community services, and education for school leavers and mature-aged students looking to upskill, retrain or continue their education journey. Our Australian Disability Enterprise, MailpaQ, offers supported employment to 60 people living with disabilities.
The Albert Street Uniting Church is the spiritual home of Wesley Mission Queensland and stands in the heart of Brisbane city. The church is open every day and offers four worship services each week, baptisms, weddings, spiritual and pastoral care, free English classes, and conferences and event spaces.
Partnerships Wesley Mission Queensland is the operational partner for Queensland’s only children’s hospice, Hummingbird House; and the Youngcare Apartments at Sinnamon Village, Coomera and Wooloowin.
