Day respite

Our respite centres are open, welcoming and inclusive, and we aim to have everyone feel a sense of belonging. With an array of day programs, activities, social groups and social outings on offer, we support you to participate in activities that suit your interest and abilities. 

We have a team of talented and experienced staff, many with qualifications in aged care, disability, and community services, who are committed to your health and wellbeing. Each of our centres also has a team of dedicated volunteers working alongside our staff. Our volunteers are passionate and enthusiastic about what they do, and their presence allows us to provide you with increased support.

Overnight respite and short term breaks

Our specialist disability accommodation communities across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast are purpose-built and provide 24/7 support from a team of Certificate III qualified support workers supervised by experienced health professionals. Short term accommodation at these sites is open to people aged 18-65 years with NDIS funding, dependent on availability.

During your stay, you'll have the option to get involved in our regular programs of activities and social events. Length of stay is flexible - you may choose to stay for a few weeks at a time or perhaps for a couple of days on a regular basis.  Enquire about availability today.

Accessing NDIS respite

NDIS disability respite and short-term breaks are available for people over the age of 18 years with an NDIS plan. Depending on your personal circumstances, you may also be able to access some centre-based respite services under the Queensland Community Support Scheme. Centre-based respite can also be paid for privately. Call us on 1800 448 448 or enquire online to find out more.
