Service changes

All Wesley Mission Queensland sites (excluding Community Transport Service, Home Assist Secure, headspace Hervey Bay and housing servicing at Laidley and Beenleigh) are open.

Please be aware that while we will be doing our best to honour all appointments and return to our usual level of support, staffing has been impacted and there may be some disruptions to service.

We will continue to update customers regularly. Please continue to check this page for service changes and keep up-to-date with weather forecasts. Take adequate precautions and stay safe.

  • Rescheduling services: If you or your property has been impacted by the storms or flooding, or you wish to reschedule any upcoming services please contact 1300 403 198 as soon as possible.
  • Community Transport Service and Home Assist Secure will resume on Thursday 13 March.
  • All NDIS and Disability Services are due to recommence Wednesday 12 March if safe for staff to reach customers.
Brisbane Relief Hub is open as of Wednesday 12 March. Please note the weather event has affected food deliveries and supply so there may be limited options and quantities available until normal service resumes. The community lunch on Thursday 13 March has been cancelled and will hopefully return the following week.
The Lockyer Valley Housing Service at Laidley and Specialist Youth Housing Service at Beenleigh remain closed. Remote supports are available. All other Housing and Homelessness services are open as of Wednesday 12 March.

Most physical sites are now open however are running on reduced staff which may result in some service disruption.

headspace Hervey Bay

  • It remains closed due to weather damage but hoping to reopen Monday 17 March.
  • Telehealth appointments are still available.
  • The Open Day scheduled for Tuesday 18 March has been postponed.
  • Rosemount Open Day has been rescheduled from Thursday 6 March to Wednesday 26 March.
  • Wheller on The Park Open Inspection has been rescheduled from Monday 10 March to Wednesday 19 March.
