Little Marchants is situated inside the Wheller Gardens community in Chermside and features several large and natural play spaces that includes a vegie patch, herb garden and our friendly chickens.

We are a small service and this allows us to have genuine and meaningful interactions and relationships with all of the children and families that attend. Our vision is to create a welcoming environment where children can experience a sense of belonging and learn in a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.

Every day, we provide an environment where children can learn while playing, exploring, investigating and enquiring. Children reach their developmental milestones with the help of our educators who support their learning. Little Marchants boasts a large outdoor natural environment allowing children to play and explore outside. 

Wheller Gardens comprises the Wesley Mission Queensland corporate office, four aged care homes, a retirement living community and day therapy centre. Being part of such a diverse and unique community allows children to experience numerous spontaneous opportunities of discovery and learning.

Little Marchants is guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, The National Quality Framework and the Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines.

Little Marchants is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am until 5:30pm
Office hours:  Monday to Friday from 10:30am until 4:00pm

Learning Philosophy

At Little Marchants Kindergarten and Child Care Centre, we believe in getting children off to a happy start.

We provide children with a secure and trusting environment where they can grow, discover, learn and explore.
