Director of Marketing, Communications and Fundraising
Mike Jeffrey joined Wesley Mission Queensland in 2011 as the marketing, communications and fundraising manager. Mike has general oversight of all marketing, communication, fundraising and sales strategy in the organisation and a hands-on marketing and sales role with managers in aged care and community services.
Mike loves the opportunity to share the story of Wesley Mission Queensland and the impact it makes in the local community. Through his involvement with our partners like Youngcare and Hummingbird House, he has the privilege of seeing first-hand how our services change peoples' lives for the better.
His highlights while in the role have included leading a cultural change program across the organisation to apply a strategic marketing approach to services. His vision for the next five years is to continue to raise the profile of Wesley Mission Queensland in the community to ensure that people know about the work we do.
He has worked in the not for profit space for the last 20 years with a diverse range of marketing responsibilities, including five years at Wesley Mission Ipswich as a divisional manager.
Mike has degrees in education and theology, and a Masters in Business Administration.
In his spare time Mike loves the outdoors, whether that be camping, hiking, playing touch footy with the kids or pounding the pavement for a late afternoon run.
